Martinez (Stevie's lifelong guitar tech)made 25 numbered limited edition replicas of this
guitar. In 2005, ten more replicas were made by René and the former owner of Charley's,
but they do not have the Charley's logo anywhere on the guitar.
Owners of the first replicas include Jimmie Vaughan Carlos Santana , John Mayer(2 pcs.-1
for play,1 for show),Craig Hopkins (president of fan club and webmaster for
www.stevieray.com), and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. This guitar was originally called "Ol'
White," and later called "Ol' Pearl" after the addition of the hula girl, a reference to the
paint color and the hula girl.
