Last month we took a trip to Montana! Why? Because The Weber Mandolin Company is in Montana! The
weather cooperated and stayed above zero for our visit. We met some awesome people there: Bruce and Mary
Weber, Bruce Jr. , John Lowell, and the rest of the family. Their dedication to their craft is evident. They are
housed in an old school house with great wood floors and lots of room. Check out the Weber Tour page.
While in Montana, we met Hugh Norton. What a visionary in the craft of electric guitars and basses. Hugh made
quite a stir a few years ago but since then has been very quiet. We are happy to say his work is as innovative
and artistic as ever. Check him out at www.nortonguitars.com . We also slipped a few pictures of Hugh and his
guitars into the Weber page. We have our first few pieces from Weber on the way. Remember Christmas is

We have officially signed as both Warwick and Gadow guitar dealers! We have a several choice pieces from
Warwick and have six pieces by Gadow on order. The Jeff Linsky Requinto has come in! It is as perfect an
instrument as can be. Well balanced and comfortable to play, the instrument was well worth the wait. Jeff is
currently touring Hawaii but we hope to have him visit our shop in the near future. We are continually updating
our inventory page so be sure to stop by and check out new pictures. A new page has been set up for

Happy Labor Day! We have just acquired some beautiful pieces over the past month. Four of the pieces are
Framus Custom guitars, one Renegade, a Panthera and two Tennessee 12-strings. We also have a Breedlove
Focus D and a Calendar piece. Check out the new pictures! We are working on acquiring a couple of pieces by
Gadow Guitars and should have some stock in for the Christmas season. We are pleased to announce that one
of our friends, KaRdo, has released a new CD titled Tristeza Artificial available through CD Baby.com or iTunes.
We are still looking for the perfect store front for our gallery so we will keep you up to date on our progress.

Austin is fantastic! Back from the NAMM show and a weekend of heat and humidity! Although the Show is
smaller than the Annual show in Anaheim, it is a great opportunity to meet with some of the smaller vendors and
check out what they are producing. We have signed on to carry Framus guitars and amps. We picked up a
beautiful duo at the show, a Renegade Custom and a Panthera Custom. Check back for pictures. We met the
creator of Daisy Rock guitars, Tish Ciravolo! One item that really caught our eye is an Octave Mandolin from
Weber. More details to come. Show pictures are now on the site.

Back from our trip. Check out the pictures of our visit to the Luthier's Convention. There we met and talked to
a number of builders and attended several seminars. There was a wonderful exhibit of Harp Guitars and a
collection of Antique Guitars to savor. Once again the work is inspiring. We also took a day and travelled to
the Breedlove site in Bend Oregon. What a great group of people. Check out the pictures, they tell the story
better than we ever could.

We are off to the Guild of American Luthiers Conference in Tacoma Washington this week. I can't wait to see all
the exhibits and perhaps meet up with friends from Healdsburg. We recently went to see Jeff Linsky play. Jeff's
trademark instrument is called a requinto, a three-quarter size Spanish guitar, which he tunes up a minor third
higher than a standard guitar. The "Jeff Linsky Model Requinto" is hand-made at Asturias Guitar Workshops in
Kobe, Japan. Only a limited number of these instruments are produced each year. The instrument is outfitted
with a Richard McLish RMC pick-up with MIDI capability. We are excited that one of these is on order for us!

Check out the latest inventory! We are now offering a Gauche Maro and a Coota Seaka. These guitars are all
handmade in Japan. Each guitar is hand inlaid with different color woods and all accessories are painstakingly
matched to the original piece. The amount of detail in each unique guitar is amazing! Loads of case candy goes
with this guitar, all accessories are signed by the makers. The matching effects pedal rounds out the sound to
produce awesome results.

The BigHeart slides have come in. We have an assortment of slides ranging from double-cut wine bottles to ceramic
slides. Each one is unique. Check out our Accessories page for a few examples. Rene Martinez Big Core strings
are also available in a variety of widths for guitar and bass. We sell them in whole boxes or individual sets.
Our latest find has arrived from New Zealand! Paddy Burgin guitars has made us a cittern. It has a cedar top and
Tasmanian Blackwood sides and back. The neck is inlaid with a Celtic knot. For those unfamiliar with a cittern, it is
voiced like a mandolin, five sets of double strings. The additional set tuned to A. The instrument is a traditional
Irish piece and has a sound that is unmistakably Celtic. In addition to acoustic guitars, Paddy also makes
Weissenborn style guitars, resonator guitars, carved mandolins and Bouzouki. We would love to work with Paddy
again on a project for you!
In stock are several Breedlove Atlas Series guitars. Among the available pieces are a beautiful AJ250/SF12, Plus; a

hand made pieces are works of art boasting beautiful inlay and matching effects pedals. Each piece is hand crafted
