These strings are the end result of a long journey. Tone and
durability are the two most important ingredients of taper
core strings. Using a taper design on the 4th and 5th strings
helps keep the balance and tone constant from G to B
strings. The taper design makes the fundamental bass note
more accurate, adds sustain and tone life. The nickel iron
alloy cover and core to cover ratios are the optimum for
bright tome, playability and durability.
